OUTREACH
Our local outreach ministries exist for the purpose of helping those in our community who are in need. The Local Outreach team uses the resources that you provide to help meet the needs of the community. By meeting their physical we are afforded the opportunity to help with spiritual needs as well. Nearly every outreach opportunity is sustained by volunteer hours and generous financial support. Thank you for your generous support and continued prayers.
COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY
Every Wednesday evening from 4-6pm in our south parking lot we serve anyone in need of food. Boxes that are built are packed with non perishable items as well as refrigerated/frozen items. Each box is built to accommodate the size of the household.
Opportunities to serve would include helping with food pickups throughout the week and/or volunteering Wednesday evening’s distributing food and praying with people.
MENTORING
We have partnered with “Communities in Schools” and developed an opportunity to mentor kids in local area schools. Time commitment is 30 minutes once a week during the school year. Background check is required.
ANNUAL OUTREACH EVENTS
Throughout the year we have many outreach events which include, Operation Christmas Child, Thanksgiving boxes for local families, providing school supplies for local elementary schools, participating in Serve Day and many more. These events require many hands and creative ideas.
