MISSIONS

COMMITMENT TO MISSIONS

Valley Assembly has a strong commitment to missions work both here locally and around the world. Taking part in local and international mission trips and outreaches, partnering with other ministries and organizations, we are committed to reaching the lost with the love of Christ. Many people are suffering due to poverty, difficult circumstances in life, and from not knowing the hope they have in Jesus. We are called to "LOVE FIRST" by reflecting the love of God to them and showing them they are not forgotten.

LOCAL OUTREACH

Valley Assembly seeks to be a positive influence in our local community. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, driven by His heart to serve others, while giving people the opportunity to find true hope and fulfillment. We partner with local schools, government, parks, apartment complexes, businesses and other organizations to serve our community in the ways they most need. This includes cooking and serving meals, cleaning and painting schools and parks, providing school supplies for children, free street fairs, concerts, and more. We also partner with UGM and help run their summer camps.

All of this is possible because of what Jesus has done for the people who make up our church family. Each person has their own unique story of what Christ has done in their life and wishes to share that with others in words and in action.

MENTORING

GLOBAL MISSIONS

Valley Assembly aims to follow Jesus' command, "Go and make disciples of all nations." This is a declaration that all people, nations and ethnicities should have the opportunity to hear the good news and know the love of God. Many people dedicate their lives to this cause, becoming "missionaries" - people on a mission, with a message to share.

In addition to taking the gospel around the world, missionaries often share the love of God by providing much-needed services to the communities they make their homes. Valley Assembly supports these missionaries with its finances, time and prayers. We also engage in short-term missions trips and send full-time missionaries from our own church family.
