Passionate Pursuit of God: We aspire to pursue God as He pursues us. Our passion for God matures as we walk daily in the power of His Holy Spirit and as we spend time in worship, prayer, Bible study, gatherings, and in serving others.
Compulsive Compassion: We value demonstrating our passionate love for God in our overwhelming desire to love others in practical ways that will point them to Jesus.
Infectious Transformation: We value the Bible and see it as the source of absolute Truth and life transformation. We seek to communicate this Truth in relevant and innovative ways that will transform lives and generate a Cultural Revolution!
Authentic Relationships: We value genuine relationships with others. Jesus said that the second greatest command is to love your neighbor as yourself. We believe your neighbor includes those who are and those who are not yet followers of Jesus. We seek to provide opportunities to develop authentic relationships with our neighbors.
Divine Tension: We value balance. The human condition is to default to one extreme or another; maintaining balance takes effort and tension helps us find balance in many areas, such as, “truth and grace,” justice and mercy,” “spirit and truth,” “knowledge and experience.”
Exponential Reproduction: We value intentional reproduction of followers of Jesus- locally and globally. Living organisms reproduce. We share Jesus, give to missions, and plant churches to perpetuate the spread of a Cultural Revolution.
Outrageous Generosity: We believe that generosity breeds generosity and that it is impossible to out-give God! Therefore, we value giving outrageously to further God’s Kingdom!
The Bible is the inspired Word of God… it is infallible and the authoritative rule of faith and conduct for mankind. (II Timothy 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 2:13 & II Peter 1:21)
There is one true God... God is one and He has revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God… He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-23); lived a sinless life
(1 John 3:4-5); performed miracles (Acts 2:22); died in our place on the cross (1 Peter 2:24); rose from the dead (Matthew 28:1-6); was exalted to the right hand of God (Acts 2:33).
Sin separates people from God… Man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). However, by a voluntary act of the will, Adam and Eve disobeyed God (Genesis 3:6). Sin separated humankind from God (Ephesians 2:12-18) and left man in a fallen or sinful condition (Romans 3:23).
Jesus came to rescue people from their sin… The only means of salvation is Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 & John 14:6). He died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins (I Peter 2:24). He offers each of us a pardon for our sins (Hebrews 9:26) and wants us to become children of God (John 1:12).
The Holy Spirit is God’s way of empowering us to live like Jesus and share the love of Jesus with the world (Acts 1:8). The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.
